MEDITATION
Follow your breathing. Just be aware of it. The idea is not to make a conscious effort to change your breathing patterns, just breathe normally.
Mantra - a word like 'peace' or some other word.
Visual object - flame of a candle, crystal, flower or flowers. Gaze at it until peripheral vision starts to dim - that should bring serenity.
Visualise (or feel) a place, no need to 'create', explore - sounds and scents as well as sights, become more tangible. Come back to this place.
Body scan, focusing on and relaxing each part of the body in turn (or start with exhale, close eyes, neck back a little, jaw open).
